Psychedelic rock music took the world by storm in the 1960's and 1970's influencing worldwide music scenes, cultures and fashion. Psychedelic and rock bands were not limited to Europe and the US. Bands formed worldwide including Mexican band, Los Dug Dugs. Alternating between psychedelic and 70's rock sounds, los Dug Dug's were one of the first bands to sing covers in English and cover bands such as the Beatles. Having their beginnings in 1960, when a when a bunch of high schoolers from Durango, Mexico formed rock and roll band, Xippos Rock, the band has been active for more than 60 years. Los Dug Dug's are an underground iconic group considered responsible for introducing and creating Mexican rock.
